This turn I attempted to use 887 and 889 (create magical weapon and bow) with
the following results.

9: Created Pointed Stick of Cain-Kardain [####].
10: > use 889 20 "Crossbow of Nastiness"
10: Requires 500 gold.

30: Paid maintenance of 35 gold.
Inventory:

the use of skill 887 should have cost 500 gold, but instead cost me 1000, as
proven by the balance of the above report.
I clearly had 1351 gold, made a magic weapon which should have cost 500, then
paid my maintenance of 35 gold. That should have left me with 816 gold.
Instead I have 316.
You can also see by the failed attempt to use 889 that the "game" is looking
for 500 gold.....I don't know if this bug is only with 887 or if it includes
both 887 and 889 (and possibly 888).
I know asking for my 500 gold back is a pointless exercise, but if others
have had a similar problem I'd like to here about it so I can have the right
amounts of gold in the future.....
