Indeed, Gandalf is doing an excellant job of demonstrating how the rules
work as compared to how they are written. Based upon what I was told,
Gandalf, in an effort of cleaning out spies from a newly acquired Rimon
stone ediface did exit and attack same castle numerous times throughout
turn 111.

Communications in large alliances being about as spotty as one would expect,
one of his allies did not get the word. Oops. Minor inconveniance, to
be sure. But POSSIBLY an answer to a question about combat put forth
earlier on the list.

It would APPEAR that if you significantly outnumber the defenders, then they
can all die before they ever get to attack. This is the way that it worked
in g1, but I had THOUGHT this had been changed in g2.

I say APPEAR because I have no idea of the loss setting of the defender
[0? 50%? 100%?]. Or if the defending nobles had been set to surrender.
