Silence should not be taken as agreement.
I would disagree with your assumption that "everyone accepts that you are
right" merely because nobody has stepped forth to disagree with your
statement.
I, for one, disagree 100% with your intial post but chose not to enter a
debate with somebody who so obviously had made his mind up on a the matter. I
would assume there are more than a few readers out there that were thinking
the same way.
