Bugs, how novel.

Well, what have we accomplished today?

There is a bug. You can spell B-U-G however you like.

The bug undermines the combat system in a very serious way.

The bug should be fixed immediately.

Despite the fact that I see no one disagreeing with any of these statements I
have been deluged with e-mail all day. The rules state you have to report a bug
to the Gamemaster. It was reported. If Rich won't fix it, the most you can do
is stop paying him. He could have spent the 10 minutes it would have taken to
inform everyone what it was, but he chose not to. It's his responsibility, not
Gregs. So, if Greg's an asshole, Rich has one-upped him and you can direct your
attention that way! Greg is a single player with self-admitted questionable
morals, and if he can affect play this dramatically then the problem is with the
game. The game is the gamemaster's responsibility NOT the players. Not Greg,
not a single Belgian, not one single person who got an inbox full of bickering
today.

All of the U.S. legal interpretations and Plato-Socratic critiques of arguments
presented over a game might be realtively amusing when I'm drunk, so I'll save
them. However, I don't see how they'll stop a couple of nobles with 600 men
from flying across a province in three days.

Go beat on the gamemaster and get him to solve the problem. He is the ONLY one
who can.
