We have discussed this before. I am distressed to see the same issues
come up again and again.

I do sometimes report bugs to Bron's list. Given that I've done this
in public, you should remember it. You should also remember the little
flamewar we had here about this very topic.

I have never exploited a bug I found on Bron's list. After seeing bugs
on his list I have written Rich to describe how important the bugs
were. I missed the importance of the SFW bugreport. A lot of other
people probably did, too.

What makes you think they wren't hoarding already?

I think that the full importance of of the SFW bug should have been on
the list.

All this talk about information hoarding is funny, given that I am the
reason that all lore is published. In earlier editions of Olympia I
kept a publically-available database of lore, because I didn't want
experienced players to have an advantage over newbies. Then someone
took advantage of me...

In the end, everybody got hurt because of the way the SFW bug was
handled. The rest is just further fallout. I'm not surprised that the
double standard argument is playing out exactly as I predicted.
