I can't believe I've got to come out in favor of Greg :-(

This talk of "cheating" is unfair and down right wrong. Greg did not cheat by
using the movment bug. By the same token, LotC did not cheat by blasting the
bejesus out of Greg with the SFW bug. The rules specifically state under the
heading of "Cheating":

Players must inform the GM of any game bugs found.

That's the only mention of cheating and bugs. Greg claims he reported the
move bug to Rich. The Lords reported the SFW bug to Rich. No cheating. End
of story.

It is not cheating to use bugs, it IS cheating not to report them.

Whether or not using such major bugs is honorable is another question.......
Because Bron Nelson is keeping a public bug list I think it the "fair and
just" thing to do to report bugs to it. I think such a public list makes the
playing field level. To the best of my knowledge TIB has reported all bugs
we've found to Rich and to Bron. The worst part about this episode is that it
confirms that Greg does not send bugs he finds to Bron. I have to assume that
Greg does read Bron's list and uses those bugs to his advantage (as others no
doubt do). But obviously he doesn't return the favor to everybody else by
reporting bugs he finds.
This will no doubt cause others to "horde" their bugs now too. I must admit
that I am MUCH less likely to inform Bron of a bug, thus granting Greg a
chance to exploit it, now that I know that Greg doesn't return the favor.
In the end, everybody gets hurt because the bugs are not reported and listed
publicly.
