I'll admit now that that I have only been around Olympia for 10 months and
not day 1 of g1. I will also admit that I don't know what is going on in
background so I'll apologize now if I have the whole picture wrong. I just
see it from where the average player sees it from.
This is not an ordinary BUG. This BUG will make many "features" of the game
unplayable.
In the past the BUGs I have learned about have always come from the BUG
list. I don't know who to give credit to for the published BUG list but this
is a person who wants to see this game stay playable, fun and fair for all. I
understand that BUGs can take time to fix but at least the BUG list keeps
everyone in the same game. Not some playing at a level above others. I
really wish that Rich would keep an official BUG list.

Now what appears to have happened in this case is that Greg found a BUG that
would obsolete many parts of the game 6 months ago. He worked with Rich on
them. He then without leveling the playing field by telling everyone about
this first proceeded to use this BUG.
I would have thought Rich would have asked him not to use it. OR if Greg
cared about the game would have not used it so other would not learn about it
and therefore put us in our current situation.

I think we all owe Angels in Shadow [en9] a great debt for finally telling
all us little people about the existence of this BUG.

I understand that Rich is busy at the moment. However he can say that
faction caught using the BUG in the future will be ejected from the game and
any faction that has given this faction troops in the past 4 turns will be
ejected as well.

You can call this BUG a feature all you want. It violates the days added
for men vs. nobles and the carrying capacity for flying and riding. This an
unintentional part of the game and as such IS A BUG. Calling it a feature is
just your way of rationalizing your actions. I truly don't know you and I
apologize if I'm wrong on that. But that is sure how it looks like from this
side.

I don't think I trust your interpretation as to "rules that everyone would
agree are not a bug".
