Could someone please explain to me the difference between the sea and land
during times of war? A conflict occurs on land and alliance leaders
announce that any unauthorized nobles caught will be killed. No one bats an
eye. A conflict happens at sea and a alliance leader says "let us know who
you are so we don't attack you by mistake" and all hell breaks loose.
Sorry, I for one do not see a difference. In times of war at land, trade
routes get interrupted, questing locations are interfered with,
non-combatants get attacked by mistake, etc... How can we not expect
disruption on the open seas when war spills over? Flag settings, as we all
know, are no sure way to identify nobles or ships. So to rely on them in
war is fool hardy.
