If the "Truth" will make you free, then PLATO's "hturT" is designed
to make them free. Free to do anything to anybody, anytime they think
they can get away with it.
And yes they are paranoid, but rightly so. The world is out to get them!
But lets be clear about it. That is exactly the way they wanted it!!!
Why else would they have worked so long, and so hard to achive it?
As for their "hturT"....
Is this not just a rewrite of how PLATO (attempted to) justified their
original sneak attack on the New Empire?
IE: I(PLATO member) was a jerk/threat/A#ole/.... who treated someone with
distain/disrespect/disreguard.
But, later after they had escaped/fled/left they did something
that I didn't like. (Responded in kind, trained a soldier, complained,
etc.) Thus proving they deserved to be badly treated.
And as soon as they are able to defend themselves, well then they are
an unforgivable/unforgetable threat. And must be destroyed at all
cost, as a matter of survival. Which of course justifies anything
and everything since how can I keep my sworn oath if I'm dead.
So off with their head and don your armor, for the dogs of war
are loose. (And we're not talking Disney here, reguardless of
similar spellings)
