We are surprised at the statements Malter and the Rimmon Musketeers made
regarding Eagle and Lords of the Crown actions.
1) The Lords of the Crown have continously maintained a high military
readiness because they have been demonized and attacked since the original
Yellowleaf war. From PLATO to the Inner Circle to Harn to the Inner Circle
and back again to PLATO -- these groups have continuously broken treaties
and outright attacked LotC holdings.
2) The Lords of the Crown have conquered the lands of the Undying Banner
and the Horselords after *repeated* attempts to warn the Harn Confederacy
from their "ghazi". I am surprised that history is forgotten so easily.
Please read Sir Codric's warnings in _Times_ 54, 55, and 56.
3) The Inner Circle and the LotC negotiated a treaty with Eric the
Seehawk's, Eagle's, and PLATO's input. The Inner Circle decided to break
this treaty of their own volition when it seemed the LotC was busy with
the Horselords. The Inner Circle has shown by their actions to be
completely untrustworthy.
4) Our support counter-balances the support provided by other off-shore
suppliers as well as from the Musketeers themselves.
Finally, the Lords of the Crown is not a "vanguard" of Eagle. We do,
however, support them and will continue to do so. While others have broken
their treaties, the Lords have kept theirs.
