The Southern Ossicus Alliance continues to act to neutralize the threat
made by the leader of the Ussun Bandits to aquire the territory of the
Southern Ossicus Alliance by force, a threat preceded by a failed
surprise attack. Pursuant to this end, we have destroyed the castle of
Lunario in dd21. Further steps will be taken until the Ussun Bandits
rescind their threats and disarm themselves, or are so disarmed by us. We
have no personal animosity for the Bandits or their leader, whose
remarkable talent for diplomacy and obfuscation should be legendary.
Accordingly, we absolve the Bandits of the clumsy attempts at propaganda
in the Times and elsewhere, as we know that if the Snakeman condesended to
turn his hand to such entertainment, he would do far better.
