If it was Domme, and he is a LotC noble, than I must question his honor.
Meriwether had spoken with Sir Codric, and was leaving LotC lands to meet
our ship in Rimmon when he was attacked, murdered and robbed.

Thank you for the statement of clarity Merlin!

The answer to #1 is "yes." Contact us if you're interested, and have the
_DEAD BODY_ to present, either to one of our nobles, or an authorized
intermediary. Every effort will be made to meet anyone halfway,
geographically speaking, that can collect. Payment will be made directly
or arranged through a 3rd party.

The answer to #2 is yet to be known.

As to who Stahl & Stein belongs to; we are an independent trade and explorer
faction, and of necessity have contact with many different groups. If being
a resident of Camaris automatically makes us PLATO, than we can only say:

Sticks and stone may break our bones but words have never hurt us. :-)

We've been residing in our demesne in southeast Camaris since year 1, and
we didn't
have the option of choosing our neighbors, PLATO or the Republic of South
Camaris.
