Very simple, because a certain Jheremai wrote us to let us know we captured
some nobles from his brothers unit and in fact he didn't want them to get
hurt while they were just doing what they were asked for in a war that was,
in fact, not "theirs".
Jheremai clearly stated he was caught up in two minds and the LotC offered
him to pull back his nobles and troops and leave it over to Khamath and the
Lords to finish what they started. Unfortunately, as we all know, things
went differently...

and now back to war, indeed
