So called "Sir" Codric,
You base born, son of a goat and a Orc, how dare you insult my brother
Jheremia?
I have had enough and will break my silence. My brother has done nothing but
behaved honorably during this entire war! He was the one who lowered himself
to beg for my life when I wanted to be a martyr for the cause. He tried to
deal with you fairly even when you put deadlines and time limits on the
deal. At my insistence he did not meet those deadlines ( and he protested
saying you were a gentleman hah! ) and both of us assumed the deal was off.
You gave NO warning or confirmation that the deal was going ahead.
So how surprised were we when you let me and Bruce go and gave me the
healing potion. My brother and I were honored and touched. "There is an
opponent we can respect", said I and my brother agreed. Both of us looked
forward to meeting you across the battlefield again and fighting a war with
skill and respect.
BUT then you accuse Jheremia of planning a double cross! As you say "Of
course, this was a set-up. Jheremia was scheming. As the nobles were leaving
for safe land, Jheremia moved his troops in to kill Sir Codric. The same
day, the besieged Khamath moved out to do the same". You did a very
honorable thing, something that would have had me away from the battlefield
and Jheremia in your debt ( and he takes that very seriously ) and then YOU
WHINED ABOUT IT!
Let me recap - Jheremia asked you to show mercy to me, you set deadlines for
an agreement, he did not meet them and sent you messages saying the deal was
off because he had missed the deadlines YOU set. Was he to assume you would
behave honorably, surely not based on your previous dealings. No he did the
correct thing, the only thing to do in his situation. The thing you would
have done had the positions been reversed.

So Codric you seducer of livestock I cry challenge! Are you man to meet me
on a tourney field in single combat or would you rather dally with sheep! I
call you coward and dare you to meet me at cz52 in Sunsear in the ninth
year. No soldiers, no other men, creatures or combatants, just you and a
second. A duel. So are you a man or is Lady Eowyn lonely?
