The Inner Circle at this time takes credit for the naval action outside
the city of Holith, in which three ships were seized and two prisoners
taken.

This message was forwarded to us from Noire Immortalus from our honorable
enemies:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Your petty ship has attacked 2 ships certainly not part of the LOTC. You
are
making a lot more enemies than you can handle. I suggest you let these
other
nobles go free.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The kindest word I can possible say about this charge is that it is howash.

We attacked three ships this turn. One of them, the Killer Whale, was
piloted by the late Volrath, and was the vehicle responsible for the
capture of Noir Immortalus in Harn. Another, the Weatherlight, was piloted
by Greven il-vek, and was responsible for the attack on the dm55 garrison
in Harn. A passenger of the final ship, our prisoner Grazth of the Sea
Ghost, was a member of the faction responsible for the theft of my ship the
Pandemonium Shadow Show from out of the port of Holith this turn:

1: Marduk [6624], with one peasant, ten soldiers, two sailors, exited The
1: Sea Ghost [p317].
1: Luthor [1964] exited The Sea Ghost [p317].
1: Marduk [6624], with one peasant, ten soldiers, two sailors, entered
1: Pandemonium Shadow Show [5039].
1: Luthor [1964] entered Pandemonium Shadow Show [5039].
1: Grazth [3330], with 16 peasants, entered Pandemonium Shadow Show [5039].

Also, the Sea Ghost was carrying a cargo of catapults and giant lizards,
so it was hardly peaceful.
If these nobles aren't members of the Lords of the Crown, then someone
else is apparently also raiding Harn territory, attacking Harn nobles, and
capturing merchant ships in the area. We urge them to contact both the
Lords and ourselves to explain their actions.
We certainly don't want to attack anyone who isn't involved, however.

If the owner or owners of Rowan [3762] and Grazth [3330] claim
non-membership in the Lords of the Crown and wish to see these nobles
again, they should contact us with the following as soon as possible:

1) a pledge that they never have been and never will be members of the
Lords of the Crown, and will not aid and abet the Lords of the Crown in the
future with gifts or sales of resources,
2) an explanation of why, if they were non-participants, they were moving
through a war zone with giant lizards and catapults,
3) an explanation of why, if they were neutral, when their ship was
captured they wrote first to the Lords instead of to the captain of the
ship that captured it,
4) an explanation of why their faction stole the Pandemonium Shadow Show,
and an immediate pledge to return it, and
5) a list of the ids of nobles in their faction or factions, to prevent
future mistakes of this kind.

If this communication is not received by next turn, Grazth and Rowan will
shortly be introduced to a friend of ours named Davy Jones, and his
well-stocked locker.

Finally, we again remind all neutral nobles travelling by land or sea in
the area between Yellowleaf and Harn to contact BOTH sides in this
conflict, so as to prevent similar misunderstandings.
