There's an old police training line that goes something like:
If the suspect is unarmed, you use your nightstick.
If the suspect has knife or club, you use your sidearm.
If the suspect has a pistol, you use your shotgun.
If the suspect has a rifle, call swat.
If the suspect can still out-gun you, hole up and wait for reinforcements.

In our current situation, Harn came after LotC with a knife (the ghazi) and
LotC has pulled their gun. All-in-all, a fair response.

BTW - like all the other posts to this thread have done, let me add my
disclaimer that I don't know the details of the whole conflict so I don't know
if LotC is in the right, or if Harn is in the right...or if both or neither
are. I'm just responding that LotC is completely free to respond however they
wish to an attack on their holdings.
