Greetings Fellow Olympians,

We apologize not to have spoken earlier but we have been misunderstood
several times (it still gives us a "bad reputation"...) so we wanted to be
sure to be clear now.
Most things have been said allready so we will not repeat them again. We
fully agree with Eric the Seahawk, we think he got the things right, after
all he made up the treaty, was involved in all negociations and knows what
all parties involved were after...

We want to declare our cities closed for trading unless an agreement has
been made with us, LotC, in advance. We are open to discuss all possible
demands directed to us in advance.
The resources in the Azrain area (wood, yew etc) were never closed to new
factions, in fact we are cooperating with several new factions in that area
(please feel free to contact the Druids of Scotland) and if we need them we
try to arrange things in advance with the other gatherers.

Just two remarks :

1) We never "chased" Erik from Azrain, we mailed him to find out his goals
and his reply was swift but based on the fact we didn't "own" Azrain, which
the treatment clearly states. We tried to explain this but were warned to
"play nice"... The last message we got came in two hours before order-time,
which is the middle of the night in Belgium. We apologize we didn't reply
to that one in time. We woke up after the whole thing was roling on the list.

2) If Ming is not happy with the situation of us being "in his backyard" we
can assure him the LotC are not happy with this fact either. Unfortunately
Rich ran out of ocean and put us so close together so we are stuck with the
same problem. The "troops" Erik was talking about was our garrisoning-unit,
maybe you remember these garrisons became neutral and had to be taken out
first before we could install ours.

So far this statement from the LotC. We are willing to answer to all
possible questions (just give us the time) and clearify all things unclear.

Greetings from

Lady Eowyn and Sir Codric for the Lords of the Crown
