Beast Deaths

It used to be a pretty regular occurence that, on day 30 of each month,
one or two horses or oxen or other more exotic beasties would keel over at
the end of each month. These days, I have far more beasts than I used to
have; however, I've noticed that I haven't had any beast deaths on day 30
for quite some time (they still die frequently when you breed them, of
course). Has anyone else noticed this? I'm wondering if Rich might have
made some changes in the code a while back that had beast immortality as a
side effect.
