Thanks. There is one other major mistake (that I know of) in that
message, and I'd like to address that now.

I want to make a public and personal apology to Bruce Glassco (AKA
The Illustrated Man). In my big posting, I stated:

I believe that the IC did not join Eagle with treacherous intent,
but rather were forced. And I can hardly blame them for leaving
when the opportunity presented itself. I do wish they had made
things clearer to us when they left as to why they had joined and
why they left.

Well, Bruce posted the email he sent us when he departed, and he did,
indeed, tell us exactly what I said I wished he had. I don't know
what to say, except that I was still in a bit of shock from
the whole situation and what Bruce said just didn't sink in.
It certainly should have.

I am sorry that I failed to understand your situation, Bruce, and I'm
sorry that we dragged your name through the mud as a result. I can't
say this as any sort of official statement from Eagle (it's not that
I think the rest of the Eagle leaders would disagree, it's just
that there would have to be a vote, and well, I'm actually retiring
and by the time all that was done...), but I do say it as my own
personal apology.

Keith
