FYI, the g1 New Empire has very little relationship to any g2 alliance. I
can't think of a single person involved in that attack that I still have
contact with. In particular Mike Blaser dropped from g1 and tried to
restart Jeremy Maiden's Empire in g2. But most of Maiden's players already
had plans and few wanted to join his group anyway. I really wish he hadn't
revived the name in his image, it tends to confuse things.
Let's see. As far as the "anger" goes, I never contested your right to be
angry with Jeremy, et al., and I don't see why I can't take offense myelf
at betrayal. But I must admit that this is a good analogy that I hadn't
thought of. It is pretty amusing.
For what it's worth, I never felt good about the "invasion" and even made a
minor attempt to stop it at the last minute.
