I don't know about any of this; I'll have to take your word for it. The
Illustrated Man account of the events is probably not exactly full of
truth, I presume.

There are no "over-aggressive" policies in the EA. I remember the g2-list
discussions, where many members of YOUR alliance, including the infamous
Ming, claimed this was a war game. I was one that denied it.

"Renounce Foxonian diplomatic positions"? I have no idea what this means.
I have always approached all negotiations with the assumption that the
other side was acting in good faith. The Crimson Alliance is not an
aggressive alliance. We have no expansionistic plans.

Unlike PLATO (reference _Times_ 33).

We fully expect that. We hope that PLATO will have honor, though, and not
violate the treaty and bring this war to Camaris.

We have no doubt that the Inner Circle will attempt to return the favor.
