Fellow Ambassadors, fellow Olympians
I tried to stay calm under the insults and insinuations thrown at us these
last days. I apologized before that my mailbox is filled to the border and
RL is taking much of our time so it sometimes takes more than a few minutes
to answer your (very long) messages.
We want to get things straight now, we never talk in riddles, we say what
we really mean !
First of all, I don't recall insulting our neighboors :
We never had anything else than respect for Lord Maltar and the Rimmon
Musketeers, we are not intending to change this, we respect his borders and
will not violate any of his rules (I really don't know why we should, in fact)
We had a small disagreement with Harn and Jheremai concerning some
provinces in the west, based on some lost messages and mixed-up claims.
This was settled by the factions involved and, according to some rumours,
our neighbours even got the better part of the deal...
Our neighbour to the south (???) has acted as an agressor, harassing some
of our nobles, even killing them without any reason, he threathened our
castle in Toppe (due to a mistake with names) but we never insulted them
(besides a misunderstood word) and we only know them from in Provinia, not
from Camaris, and as far as we know, they were, and still are, in somebody
elses territory.
If they would go back to Camaris and leave everything here in peace, we
don't see why we should bother about Plato.
The only one neighbour we have some trouble with is you, Illustrated Man,
and for a lot of reasons :
-from day 1 you try to set other Alliances up against us !
You succeeded with Plato, having them coming to us in Toppe (that was
before our joining with The Lords)
You almost succeeded with Harn, trying to get a war between Harn and The
Lords and so diverting the attention from your garrisoning the Empire-area
And now you are trying to set neutral Alliances up against us in a dispute
between The Lords (helping the New Empire) and your Inner Circle which
should be settled between us, not the others !
So stop right here, Bruce ! This time you won't find anyone else to do the
"dirty work" for you.
You turned and twisted when you said a little bit too much about your share
in the Plato/Empire first clash, now you have to stop dragging others into
this.
If Plato decides to choose your side, so be it, in fact they wanted to
return to Camaris, leaving the area between you and us. So if they change
their mind now, it has nothing to do with neutral bufferzones or
resource-collection from new players, but it's pointed against us and/or
The New Empire.
This being said, an apology from The Illustrated Man for all insults and
insinuations is the first thing we want to see in this list.
