Rule 2 of diplomacy

Make sure you have your facts straight.

My understanding of the situation is

Sir George and Sir Codric are not members of the Fence Alliance. They
were not party to the diplomacy with PLATO regarding the Fence.

Sir Codric and his faction have in fact been trying to set up a
domain to the west of Yellowleaf. Does everybody remember the traffic
on this list from Sir Codric regarding PLATO's demands that Sir
Codric move away from his CONSTRUCTION SITE. Sir Codric protested
that PLATO had stumbled on the site of his castle.

The Fence alliance has been in the game for some time and the Fence
has been there for some time. I can personally attest to the fact
that Sir Codric had no knowledge of the Fence prior to a few months
ago when they were forced to flee Yellowleaf due to the PLATO attack.
I know this as he asked me about the Fence and whether I knew
anything about the ruler one month after the attack on Yellowleaf.

Sir Codric's faction had suffered somewhat at PLATO's hands (Once
again this is all in the list archives or the Times) having had
several nobles captured and I think one killed.

Eowyn of the Fence kindly allowed the refugee's from Yellowleaf to
shelter in his castle as is his right. Obviously Sir Codric was a bit
undiplomatic in the timing of his oath while taking ssanctuary in
someone elses castle.

I would call on Sir Codric to publically clarify on whose behalf he
was making the oath in the Times.
