In the Design archive on the Olympia Web Site there is a post-launch
design list. The very first message is from the mighty Rich. One
section reads as follows:
"If it turns out that there is a compelling reason to change a
critical part of the game, such as the combat system, I would likely
put it up for a player vote. More than a few votes against would
probably condemn a change, even if it was a good one. We'll see how
it goes."
So that is Rich's position and I for one bow to his wisdom. Hey he is
the one that will be bombarded with email if everyone hates the
changes
