Here is what we figured out. We get 5 gold per day in a civ-1 city and
in a civ-1 province. To get it, though you have to write use 802 25,
like in the following from my latest turn.
12: > use 802 25
16: Earned 25 gold dowsing for water.
I'm assuming in a higher civ level city I will have to write use 802 50,
for example. Of course, this doesn't match what is in the rules:
This skill earns 10 gold per day for the mage, while work at common
tasks is available. Cities and provinces support 5 days of work at
common tasks for each point of civilization level. For example, a
civ-2 city will allow a mage to work for 10 days at common tasks,
earning 100 gold.
Have you changed things so it now works like it says in the rules?
