Greeting Fellow Olympians!
I am Ebony Knight "Lord Chancellor" of the Greyfell Lords.
I pen this note due to my distress of the recent and ongoing Spartan times issues. I as a long time Olympian am ashamed at this. So should you be! Sure you've played for 100+ turns, you have a castle with thousands of man at arms and beasts. But does this make your civic responsibility to all Olympians any less? I say not.
None can deny the multifaceted ingenious behind this gaming medium. It can be a purely war game or a Role playing Game. It can be as deep as you make it or as shallow. You as the player decide. But know ye this No
wargammer can ever defeat a true role-player. Why? Because a role-player has too many allies. "Okay so that's my opinion but you get the idea".
I write these words to let you know at one point we had 360 players in Olympia and are now down to 179. It would behoove us all to encourage more players into Olympia because the more players we have the more fun and action that's out there. So please take the time once in awhile to post a helpful article or opinion. Perhaps even a wild rumor here or there in the newsletter so that our fair lands don't become as barren as G1.
Keep in mind that any player weather new or old might be that diamond in the rough that leads to your defeat so beware and treat them nice : )
Ebony Knight "All in Olympia are equal. . . If not in might in hope."
