In need of more troops or a second flank? How about an armed escort through hostile wilderness or dangerous waters? Then contact "The Brotherhood of the Red God" (The BoRG), and for a modest fee we can send an escort by caravan on land or via ship in dangerous waters. In general we are swords for hire and for the right price, will attack almost any target. Please visit our web site at www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/1843/borg.html or contact us at asgardian@bigfoot.com
May the Red God smile upon you.

" KIL KIL KIL TANSTFL LEGE SLOWLY!!!!!!!!!!!! DEY DIE SKREMING!!!!!!!!!!!!! MADOG I WIL AVVENGE U KIL TANSTLF LEGE SLOWLY!!!!!!!!!!! KIL KIL KILL!!!!!! DEY DIE AND SKREEM AND SUFFER AND BLED YES YES YES KIL KIL KIL!!!!!!!! "
You pathetic twit. You were ignored by all after the ravages of the Harnic war, as you desired to have no redeeming value. Feeling a sense of adolescent rejection, you decided to act out your emotions. And just what did you accomplish? In a land stripped and ravaged by a recent war, with an average (total)garrison combat value of about 40, not counting provinces with no garrison at all... In this land run by a novice, you managed to kill what, 8 garrisons? You crow so loud about the 19 nobles you killed. All but two were either newbies or very novice players just trying to learn (and earn) there way in Olympia. Anyone can kill children, it is hardly something proving your strength or heroism. These are the sum total of your accomplishments. Anyone with even a rudamentary understanding of military matters could have conquered the whole place. If you don't count garrisons, you had 5 times the military force I had when you started your temper tantrum. And if you count my garrisons from column 44 to column 49, we were at parity, in numbers, not quality. You beat your breast with pride on "lasting" 23 turns... Of course, harvesting lumber, recruiting and training soldiers, and then training them into pikemen takes time, and it was necessary to raise nearly 300... count the noble days required. Once this was done, and the counterforce assembled, you lasted 5 turns. All of that the time it took to chase you down as you attempted to run away.
I am looking forward to your resurection, and I do hope you will return. It is helpful to have a chance to practice military coordination periodically, even if it is only for the purpose of hunting down one of such limited abilities as yourself. So continue to hide behind your childish rumors, I am sure there are those who find your existence amusing... Rather like the freak show at the circus... "There but for the grace of god, go I..."

Rumors
'Tis I, the Eagle, who has returned afresh with new name unlike the putrid flesh I once digested.
What do I see?
I see a war raging across this continent, waged by the incontinent. I see troops of (ig)noble visage fighting two fronts with a holy third to soon arrive. I have heard whispers of an armistice in order that one shall have time to defeat the untrustworthy philosopher.
Lord Codpiece wastes away, his fragile health of secondary importance to the embarrassment of capture. Oh sorrow, Roman Legions, to lose the Emperor's Eagles to the German barbarians!
And what else do I see from so high? The fledgling Krussos sits flexing its muscle while ignoring the diplomatic backstabs from supposed allies. I see a friend-cum-traitor, who shall send age instead of youth. Beware Krussos, for your trust in your friends is also to be your eventual downfall.
And last I see a plan foiled foul by flickering tongues and deceitful words. I see the whole breaking into parts and the indecisive sword.
News keep getting better and better... A fish caught, a canine with rabbies put to rest... What will be next I wonder? Empires crumbling? Pigs flying? Vultures eating at gourmet restaurants? PLATOnic love affaris between factions? Harn assimilated by the BoRG? And all that for only $2.50 a week? Oh, and 49 players less? In only one week? Does that mean that I will be all alone in about six weeks? - The Sparrow -
It looks like the sparrow is without a nest.
Anyone want a dogskin cape?
I wonder when the LotC will update their website to include accounts of their recent string of failures and defeats.
"I said! HELP ME!!! I'm Meltingggggggg.......

Oh, for a still. I could make my own Scotch.
Here we go again. I'm starting to get a little saddle sore.
Pig Foul will make a nice roast !!
Crests of the Horse Rampant everywhere you say?
Inconceivable!
Word has spread that the great General Artemis Entreri has personally vowed to rid the world of any noble who would insult the honour of the Lords by displaying the symbol of resistance.
It might be easier for him to kill all of the busy tradesmen stitching away at the Olympian Tailors Guild. But, he'd best careful! An angry tailor with a sharp needle might just best the slowing sword hand of the aging general.
How much is that puppy in the window? When will he be full grown?
