Hi Ho Hi Ho...its off to sea we go. We shall meet our brothers in arms. We shall defeat all who oppose us.
-- Lady BarBara [p532]
My name sure gets mentioned here a lot. I'm usually being linked to damn near everyone. Seems there are a lot of fools around here that think you must be part of a group to stay alive. I am not nor will I ever be part of a group. I trust no one. I kill for the mere pleasure it brings me. If you send me a threat be assured I'll add you to the hostile list. I follow no rules from fools. My spokesperson shall update the count of the dead as it is needed. I WORK ALONE.

The Brotherhood of the Red God is currently unavailable for major work due to the large number of contracts we are engaged in. The Brotherhood is looking for new Warriors and other nobles who wish to take the Oath of the Brotherhood. The Brotherhood accepts individual nobles as well as whole factions into the order. If you are looking for a life of action and adventure then join the Brotherhood and see the world maybe even other worlds. Promotion for brave and resourceful men is quick and the spoils of war are large.
Distance is not an object as we are currently operating in most areas of Provinia and some of the other continents. Transport can be arranged.
Please visit our web site at www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/1843/borg.html or contact us at asgardian@bigfoot.com
May the Red God smile upon you.

Rumors
In conjunction with the Traveler's Guide, we have published a map showing the size and position of the twelve regions of Olympia. It can be seen viewed on the Landmasses page at the Encyclopedia Olympia site at:
http://www.spiretech.com/~jeffh/olympia/
We are working an adding the political boundaries of the major alliances to this map, using published land claims as our guide. Any who wish to be sure their territory is accurately represented should submit their claims to encoly@hotmail.com.
We regret that we made a slight error in our last posting. We listed the Tanstagi League as being active near Harn when we should have listed the Tanstaafl League, of which the Tanstagi Protectorate is one member. Our apologies for the error and our thanks to Erick DrunkenStyle, Speaker for the Tanstagi, for the correction.
Faery:
Faery is one of four regions separate from the main world of Olympia (the others are Hades, the Cloudlands, and the Underworld).
Faery may only be entered through a faery hill sublocation. These sublocations are not generally visible in the main world, but can be summoned through the use of an elfstone (69). Elfstones are most easily found by questing in enchanted forests or faery hills.
Once you have obtained an elfstone, the next task is to find a faery hill. The easiest way to do this is to give the elfstone to a traveling or exploring noble and issues "USE 69" in every province. The order takes 0 time, so it will not delay any planned moves. If successful, it will make the faery hill appear. Be warned, however, that faery hills appear to be very rare, and there may be as few as one per region. The faery hill itself is in Faery, and the path between faery hills and the main world only remains for a limited number of turns, so be prepared to summon it again if necessary.
Once you have access to a faery hill, you can enter Faery and start exploring. Faery is only seven provinces tall (north to south), but the map wraps at the northern and southern ends. Faery is very wide (well over a thousand provinces) and is bounded on the east and the west by the Faery Sea. To our knowledge, no one has yet explored the Faery Sea to find out if the map wraps east to west or if there are additional regions yet to be discovered.
Other than the Faery Sea, Faery consists solely of forest provinces, with an occasional city thrown in. All Faery cities offer Scrying (and only Scrying), and generally sell winged horses, either avinia leaves or lana bark, and either yew or mallorn. They buy mithril, with an occasional city also buying gate crystals.
Travel in Faery can be dangerous, with a 6% chance per move of an encounter. Encounters appear to use the same forces available for quests in enchanted forests or faery hill, either a force of 5-20 faeries or 5-20 elves. Elfstones no longer protect against these encounters. Nobles using conceal self are safe from harm.

>10. The Vulture has full command of the Engllish Language.
Obviously.
Will the REAL Vulture please come forward? These turkey buzzards are annoying.
Ugh, I hate it when somebody wins. At least G2 was a better design than G1 in that it took a lot longer before a clear winner was identified. Interesting how in both games the winners took advantage of bugs to gain their advantage. I hope Scott is paying attention, making sure that TAG has no loopholes, or at least is willing to close them in a fair and expeditious manner.
