Scrying concerns the gathering of information by means of magical spells. Simple spells may allow the mage to learn information about other characters nearby, or to view distant regions.

Advanced study delves into spells wrought long ago in by the men of Areth-Pirn as tools to rule their land, including the erection of magical barriers to travel, as well as additional spells of far-seeing.
